Consignors select an appointment on their Consignor Portal to drop off their items. Please allow adequate time to check in and give us your items. We will be inspecting all items for quality assurance. If something is not "up to par" it may be rejected, or added to the play clothes area. Consignors who did not reserve an appointment slot or missed their appointment may come whenever they can during the set drop-off hours, and we will work with them (but they may have a short wait). Anyone you choose to assign the responsibility to drop off your items is acceptable. Ensure that person knows your consignor number and bring your signed Recall Waiver when they come. Your designated individual will be responsible for bringing your items, building anything that needs to be built (pack and play, crib, etc), dropping off your large plastic bin (if you're not donating all unsold items), and your stamped/addressed envelope for your consignor check. Ensure your assigned drop-off person knows that the Consignor Pre-Sale wristbands they receive at check-in are IMPORTANT! You MUST have this wristband to get into the Consignor Pre-Sale. There is a $15 fee to replace any lost wristbands.

No, there are items that we do not accept. We will also inspect all items brought to us, and we reserve the right to return any items that do not meet or exceed our quality standard.

• Regarding Types of Items: We only have a few restricted categories. Check out our Unaccepted Item List at the bottom of this page
• Regarding Quantity: Each consignor may consign as much as they want up to 400 items total, except for a few categories with quantity limits. Limits subject to change each sale so be sure you check with us for current limits 
• Regarding Merchandise Quality: We will inspect items very closely to maintain the quality of the items at our sale. We may choose not to accept some of your items. It is often easy to overlook a stain or a tear when preparing your items for the upcoming sale. Mama Bears Consignment wants to be known for having the best quality, clean, and blemish-free merchandise. We have found that most of our consignors are also our biggest shoppers, and we want you to have confidence in buying the best merchandise at the Mama Bears Consignment sales.

Consignors may choose to pick up their unsold items on the last day of our sale. We will sort all of your items back into your plastic tote that you bring along with you to drop off. If you choose to donate all of your unsold items you will NOT need to come back to pickup and will NOT need to leave us a plastic tote. All donated items will be picked up by The Blessing Place at 5:30 PM sharp on Monday, August 7. We would love to have all consignors pick up by then. If registered to consign, you will be issued a Consignor's Presale Wristband and one for a guest, when you drop off your items. This gives you access to the Consignor's Presale. You will receive TWO wristbands per consignor number, and you must check in to receive them. You MUST wear your wristband at the Consignor Pre-Sale. There is a $15 fee for the replacement of lost wristbands.

All consignors & volunteers must present and wear their wristbands to enter their early shopping time. If a wristband is lost, the consignor/volunteer may obtain a replacement pass by paying a $15 cash or card. Contact info@mamabearsconsignment.com.

Absolutely! These are your wristbands to do whatever you would like to do with.

We know it can be helpful and fun to have someone to shop with, so as a consignor you may bring one friend. Please only bring children if only absolutely necessary. A parent must accommodate children under 12 at all times. If you would more of your friends to shop with you, have them register to consign 25 items or more, and they will earn a wristband(s). They may also sign up for our Presale by purchasing a Presale Pass and you will get to shop right after Volunteers and Consignors!

If you misplace your consignor check within 90 days of the check date, we will re-issue a replacement check and deduct $22 to cover the bank fees charged for canceling your original check. Checks exceeding 90 days old will not be re-issued.

Price your merchandise to sell; see our Pricing Items guide below for suggested pricing.The general rule of thumb is to price things UP TO 25-30% off retail, unless they are very high quality, a high end brand, or New. These items can be priced up to 50% off. Just remember that shoppers are looking for discounts. Usually, if someone does not receive a large consignor check, it was due to pricing things too high :)

No, all tags that you print will contain barcodes. Without barcodes, our system will not know how to sell the items, what to charge, and who to give the commission to.

We REQUIRE all consignors (who are not donating unsold items) to bring a large plastic bin with your consignor number written in big, bold letters on the side. The bin will be used to place your unsold items back into at end of the sale. 

Yes, you must register for each new sale you wish to consign in and register under the same consignor number you have already received. If you have trouble, please e-mail us at info@mamabearsconsignment.com

Every consignor can shop before the public by attending the Consignor Pre-Sale. If you want to be one of the first to shop the sale, you need to join in serving with Mama Bears Team and signing up as a volunteer. Volunteers are eligible to shop First, before the Consignor Pre-Sale. Refer to our Volunteer page for more info.

Mama Bears Consign is a fantastic way for new moms to supply their homes with all the newborn essentials affordably. We do not have a designated first-time mom's shopping time. Only our volunteers and consignors shop before the public at our volunteer sale and the consignor pre-sale event. We recommend first-time moms to do the following: 

1. If you have a friend who is consigning, you could ask if they would loan you 25 items to consign under your name and consignor number. You will then be a consignor, and therefore you get to shop before the public. 
2. You may ask a consignor to bring you as their shopping buddy to the Consignor Presale.
3. You may purchase a Presale ticket.

We accept cash and credit cards- a 3% processing fee will be applied to card payments

No dressing rooms will be available.

No, we suggest that you bring a tote, laundry basket, or wagon.

Consignors who serve with us at the sale are called "Volunteers." The more time a consignor invests into serving at the sale, the higher the earnings percentage they receive.  Volunteers are invited to shop the sale before everyone else during Volunteer Shop. Becoming a volunteer is optional, but you must be a consignor with 25 items or more to volunteer.

All volunteers must be a consignor, and at drop-off, you will be given a Volunteer Sale wristband pass, which will allow you to enter First. You will receive Two Wristbands. One for you and one for a friend. You MUST wear your wristband when you come to shop on Volunteer Night. If you misplace your wristband you may purchase replacement bands for $15.

Absolutely! It is yours to do whatever you want with it, you earned it.

We know it can be helpful and fun to have someone to shop with, so Volunteers and Consignors will receive an extra wristband for a friend. Please only bring children if only absolutely necessary. A parent must accommodate children under 12 at all times. If you would like more friends to shop with, have them register to consign 25 items or more, and they will earn a wristband, or have them purchase a Presale Pass.

If you cannot leave a nursing baby at home, we want you to be able to join us also. For safety concerns, volunteers are not permitted to bring children under the age of 12 to assist, but they are allowed to bring children/babies who can be "worn" in an infant carrier the entire time! When you register online, you can select a 4-hour "Baby-Wearing" time slot to let us know you'll be bringing and wearing your child. If all our baby-wearing appointment slots are full, please get in touch with us, and we'll see what we can do! 

No children under 12 may accompany a volunteer unless they can be "worn" during a designated "Baby-Wearing" shift; thank you for your understanding. 

Consignors who failed to fulfill a shift in the past were placed on the Prohibited Volunteer List. You may be eligible to be reinstated as a potential volunteer by paying a $30 deposit and choosing a shift at the upcoming sale. You will only be eligible for one shift, and you will not be eligible for two changes until you fulfill that shift. The deposit will be fully refunded after that shift. The deposit aids us in verifying the consignor's sincerity and dependability to be a volunteer once again. If the consignor fails to fulfill that shift, their $30 is forfeited.
